Mito Travertine Ceiling Light

It replaces a white disc on a white ceiling with two natural materials at noticeable scale, and that alone is enough to make the ceiling feel considered instead of ignored.

The reason to choose Mito over a standard flush fitting is that both components are honest. The stone is solid travertine, thick enough to have real weight and real depth in the pores, and the plate is genuine oak or walnut rather than a printed foil. That matters over time. A painted metal ceiling light looks new for two years and tired afterwards; stone and wood simply get older, which they do gracefully. The deeper grain in this particular stone is the point of difference against smoother, more uniform travertine, and it is worth choosing deliberately if you want the material to be obvious rather than discreet.
